Nun ist zumindest schon einmal bekannt wer denn die Headliner Slipknot bei ihrer Europatour begleiten wird: Machine Head und Children of Bodom.

Hier der kleine Brief:

Europe…your time has come.

After spending the summer tearing up North America on the Mayhem tour, we will finally bring our chaos to you. Joining us on this journey this time around will be Machine Head and Children of Bodom. It's been a long time coming…we know the European fans have been waiting for this. We are breathlessly waiting as well. We cannot wait to throw down with you.

Remember, if it doesn't come from us, the choice is yours on whether or not to believe it. See you soon.

Slipknot werden im Anschluss an ihre Mayhem Tour 4 Festivalauftritte in England, Österreich und Deutschland haben.

So werden sie in England sowohl auf dem Reading als auch auf dem Leeds Festival auf der Bühne stehen.

Weiterhin werden Slipknot einen Aufritt beim Two Days a Week in Wiesen (Österreich) haben, gefolgt von einem weiteren Auftritt in Westdeutschland, nämlich beim Area 4 in Lüdinghausen.

Slipknot werden diesen Sommer mit Disturbed, Dragonforce, Mastadon, Sevendust, Airbourne, Five Finger Death Punch, 36 Crazy Fists, Machine Head, Black Tide, Suicide Silence, the Red Chord und Walls of Jericho im Gepäck durch Amerika touren. Sie sind Teil des Mayhem Festivals - gesponsort unter anderem von Rockstar Energy Drink und Jägermeister -und werden in 30 Shows durch Nordamerika und Kanada touren. Slipknot sind die Headliner und werden jede Show abschließen, nachdem auf 3 verschiedenen Bühnen den ganzen Tag über ein spektaluläres Programm geboten werden wird.


Corey Taylor äußerte sich folgendermaßen:
"This summer we are truly bringing Mayhem. SLIPKNOT is excited to be a part of it, and to be able to bring the new chapter of our history to the masses. We are already working, building and designing a new show. We cannot wait. We cannot lose. Get ready for Mayhem!"
